Hey there, fellow parents and caregivers! As you all know, our little ones are always full of surprises, and this conversation was no different! Today, I want to share a conversation with the NinjaPotato about books and shows. I was discussing with NinjaPotato about the Captain Underpants books and how he could read them after... Updates, and Backlogs, and Open Projects…
I'm extremely sorry for the fact that I have yet to post about our trips to Hershey Park, Disney World, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Thunder on the Boardwalk, and more. I have just done photo editing for a few events, that I captured back in 2019 that I want to turn into posts for here since things are starting to open up again, but I have a lot of things going on as I transition forward in life, including medical issues and work related things.
Ingredients of a Photographer…
It's story time! This story is about how we bought the NinjaPotato a cheap 5.1mp Sony Point and Shoot Camera, and he had a blast, and took some great images.
Remote Learning: Art Class
For everyone with kids out there, remember, they can sense your unease, anxiety and fear. So while you should still remind them to cover their mouth when they cough, and wash their hands appropriately also make sure they have some fun and light-hearted play in their routine so that they don't shut down.
Surfing With The Best Day Foundation 2019
When I asked our Ninja about it later, he said "It was the absolute best day ever, I can't wait to do it again" and he has spoken of it fondly. I've even heard him using the words "best day ever" in his play since then (it's a habit he has, where his daily life is adapted into his pretend play).

Bernie Cooke Park: A Job Well Done!
While we didn't get to enjoy the park ourselves until Memorial Day (May 27th) and both playgrounds, and swing structures were fully loaded with kids of all ages, it really seems like the Skatepark designed by 5th Pocket Skateparks is what continues to shine about this newly renovated park.
More Six Flags Fun!
So it was memorial day weekend, and all the "Bennies" (that's what 'we' in NJ call tourists, especially from the NY area), were blocking up all the roads, and the beaches/boardwalks were packed. So we took a chance, and headed to SixFlags Great Adventure. As I've stated before, we are only about 25 miles away,... Continue Reading →
BUSCH GARDENS: Day Two – And we are a little bit taller now…
Now as I mentioned yesterday, make sure your little ninja wears shoes for at least the measuring process. Thin-sole shoes will actually put shorter children at a disadvantage. Again, this is NOT cheating.
SixFlags via My Phone….
So today we went to SixFlags in the evening. It was the day before easter. I brought my Sony A6000 and my SEL55210 55-210mm lens. As we went through the bag scanners, the security guard says "big camera" and I said "Where? I brought the small camera today!". The last time I was at six... Continue Reading →
